Our Founder
Louise Holme
RN, BN, BEd, Grad Dip Bus Admin, MBA, AFCHSE
Our Founder has a career spanning over 40 years in the healthcare industry.(OMG how hard is this to admit!)
Louise is a passionate perfectionist and delivers excellence in every endeavour she undertakes.
As a Cosmetic Nurse and an avid consumer of skincare products during her lifetime, Louise was frustrated by outlandish claims, confusing information and ingredients that are often harsh, harmful and unethical.
Louise suffers from a Chronic Skin Condition which has been further compounded by many products and their claims.
Over 16 years ago when Louthera was conceived there was not such a thing as natural, affordable and ethical skin care products. Particularly those with potent plant based and scientifically validated actives to resolve issues with skin function and skin conditions.
There was a monopoly held by a handful of brands (mostly based outside of Australia) that serviced all skin clinics, beauty salons and professional dermatologists/plastic surgeons and cosmetic nurses throughout Australia. These trends sadly continue today with un-natural and non-friendly ingredients for the skin or the planet.
There had to be a better way and Louthera Australia was born.
From humble beginnings to where we are today as a brand endorsed by Plastic Surgeons, Aestheticians, Cosmetic Injectors, Dermatologists and Every Day Humans!
